Some bands are searching for information, many of you have that information and some comment on a myriad of subjects, so we are thinking about creating a page that would allow everyone (members and nonmembers) to post their input which will be listed alphabetically by topic, city and by date. There's no need for any of you to maintain updates, just once in a while, consider making an entry. Suggestions from you thus far: Gigs wanted, needed, calendar, distribution, promotion, radio, how to start a band, creating a line-up, creating a song list, booking jobs, rules for jam sessions, rules for professional behavior on jobs, recording, creating a press kit and how to find appropriate jobs. Please email Candace@zbands.com if you’d be interested. BTW: Blogs and/or Discussion Boards tend to produce very nasty blog wars, if they are not closely monitored with clear enforced ground rules. The FYI page is not a blog but it will cover information and topics across the spectrum that will be monitored. There will also be a Zero Tolerance policy for things like Original Bands bashing Cover Bands, profanity, etc. Your suggestions are welcome. Regards, Barb
